Roll over

Those were the days when I can just turn Zylan to his side and he stays there until I turn him back. I can take my time to lotion his back, get the camera and capture a shot of him then get back to changing him and he's still in the same position.

This shot was taken when he was 3months old. He looks like he's trying to get his coordination right here...kekeke :-D Of course I didn't purposely take my time to get him dressed :-p

This was my probation period, to master the skills of changing baby in record time, in preparation for when he develops new skill of turning over or crawling and I can change him before he turns (yeah rite!).

Exactly on the 4th month, Zylan was able to roll over on his tummy. But he can only do it by turning to his left. He hasn't mastered rolling over by turning to his right, yet.

Once he discovered that he could roll over, he just can't wait to show it to us every time we put him down on the bed. So, I just have to keep practising at getting faster and more efficient with those buttons!

He gets really excited at this new skill he developed that sometimes he just rolls over and starts to laugh. But not before long he starts to cry for help, cos he hasn't mastered turning back again :-p

See the smile and excitement on his face when he turns over. Notice his hands sometimes gets stuck under his chest, but usually with some effort he manages to get them out.

He just loves the liner or the rubber changing mat, so everytime I put him on top of it, he will turn to his side to grab it or try and bite it. Once he could turn over, it was more than biting, sometimes scratching at the mat.

He looks like he is so amazed at the mat, probably the colors attracting him.






Right after he knew how to roll over, he tried to turn back again to lying position. Here he is trying to turn back again.
