Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers

Natural Laxative

Bought this sometime back when we were at BSC having lunch and I got Zylan his first bottle of jar food.

The selection was quite interesting so I decided to pick a few - mainly those that I can't seem to find as fresh fruit at the organic shops. So the Gerber prune was one of them that I got. I thought this would be a good idea since Zylan needed to strain very hard sometimes when he needed to poo-poo.

So, one fine Sat I gave this to him as an intro to a new fruit. The taste was probably too strong for him cos his first expression looked like I just gave him a piece of lemon. I only let him have a few little spoons as trial tasting and even then he poo-poo-ed more than usual that day. I guess it must have been less strenuous for him this time around.

The next day, while we were out and waiting for Daddy in the car, I was busy entertaining Zylan.

We were playing with froggie and laughing happily away.

See, he looks quite happy and contented doesn't he?

So naturally I didn't notice anything unusual until I decided to carry him out of the seat for awhile....

gawd....

I didn't even noticed that he had poo-poo-ed and that together with his pee had leaked out to his shorts and soiled the seat as well. White shorts and brand new seat.... just great! :-(

Luckily we were nearby mum's place, so we had to do a quick detour there. Got him cleaned, washed and changed. But the seat took a lot longer to remedy. Daddy probably almost scrub a hole in the seat cover :-p

So, here is a big NO NO to prunes. Honestly prune works very well, but
this fruit is sort of banned until unless otherwise needed.

On the bright side, I have found an excellent remedy incase we ever need a cure for constipation.
